Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson Vs. Enzo And Big Cass
... night at WWE Fastlane to retain the Raw Tag Team Championships. With Big Cass neutralized along the ringside barricade, Anderson capitalized and kicked Enzo in the head as he attempted to re-enter the ring. The referee counted to three despite Enzo getting his foot on the rope. Bleacher Report WWE @BR_WWE. WWE shared a photo of the champions holding the tag titles. WWE @WWE. The A. V. Rick Rude Announced As Sixth Inductee Into Wwe Hall Of Fame's 2017 Class
... insult to injury against his opponents by airbrushing their face onto the front or back of his wrestling tights. During a heated feud against Jake “The Snake” Roberts in 1987, Rude revealed the image of Roberts’ wife Cheryl across the groin of his pants. Working with manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan in the WWE, and later serving as a member of Paul Heyman’s Dangerous Alliance faction in WCW, Rude was one of the most respected workers worldwide. Outside of occasional one-off matches later on, Rude’s in-ring career came to an abrupt end in 1994 when he suffered a devastating lower back injury against Sting during a match in Japan. Rude stayed involved in the wrestling business, however, as a mouthpiece and enforcer. After a brief reunion with Heyman’s ECW as an announcer in 1997, Rude made his presence felt in the “Monday Night Wars” era by joining WWE’s D-Generation X as a bodyguard. On Nov. 17, 1997, he made history by ...
Wwe Wrestlemania 33 Predictions, Card, Matches, Rumors, Tickets, Location
... Raw Tag Team Championship - Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (c) vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass and Cesaro & Sheamus: There is a No. 1 contenders match next week on Raw to determine the challenger for this match but something tells me we end up with a cloudy finish and triple threat tag team match as a way to get all six guys involved. If one team does win, I’m guessing it’s Amore and Cass as their first title win coming in Orlando would be tremendous. Plus, Cesaro and Sheamus could still fight in the battle royal or against each other. Smack Down Women’s Championship - Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Becky Lynch: With Naomi having relinquished her belt after being sidelined due to injury, this obvious match presents itself. Smack Down Tag Team Championship - American Alpha (c) vs. The Usos: The real build for this match started on Tuesday night, and it should reach a pitch of intensity by the time Wrestle Mania actually rolls around. Big Show vs. Shaquille O’Neal: O’Neal surprised fans by appearing in the battle royal at last year’s Wrestle Mania, and the talk since then has ...
Charlotte Flair's Loss Is Bad For Women's Division
... Mahon no doubt using the way the title was defended last night as a way to keep pointing out that Banks doesn't think her friend Bayley can do it on her own. Whether there's going to be a full heel turn in the works is hard to say, but Banks doesn't stay that close to the belt this long if she isn't about to be rewarded with a shot at it. But where does that leave Flair? She is, even this early in her career, working on all-time great status. An incredibly gifted athlete and performer with that iconic Flair style and look, it's really hard to make the case for Bayley or Banks being that much better overall wrestling-wise. But the fact is that they're more popular with fans. So one of them being at the top is, to steal a phrase from WWE top brass, best for business. What's also good for business, however, is keeping things interesting. Raw's women's division has, right now, one interesting ...
Biggest Stars Of The Night
... last year, but by the end of the night, there were more groans and sighs from WWE fans than oohs and aahs. It was as slow and plodding of a show as WWE has put on in recent memory, and more than a handful of WWE fans on Twitter lamented the show's broadcast television quality, a feeling summed up by Bleacher Report's own Donald Wood on Twitter : "This episode of #Raw sucks.". To be sure, Fastlane was far from perfect. Most of the night's title matches lacked cohesion of any sort. The tag team title match was no better than most tag matches seen on Raw or Smack Down. The Raw Women's Championship match was by far the worst the women of the Raw brand have put on. And the night's main event between Kevin Owens and Goldberg, all 21 seconds of it, was as exciting as a hard sneeze. But in between the low moments of Fastlane, a handful of WWE Superstars did shine. Let's take a look at the Superstars who were the best of the best at WWE Fastlane 2017. Samoa Joe. 2 of 4. Credit: __link__. WWE has hit all the right notes in its main ...
John Cena Reveals Wwe Wrestlers' Surprising Video Game Of Choice
... 2 K "because you can create your own personality, so a lot of them try and morph what they're doing in real life and bring it to the screen.". Cena, then, likes the idea of being able to challenge his more experienced colleagues with the Switch. "Games like 1 2 Switch just require basic reaction time—and a lot of psychology is involved as well, you can fake out your opponent, because you have to look at your opponent, not the screen. So this is my way to get back into gaming.". Of course the guy who became famous for telling opponents that they'd never see him coming would love a bunch of video games where you pretty much just stare down the person across from you. It also turns out you'll be seeing a lot of Cena, too, this year—he's hosting the Kids' Choice Awards this month, returning to Wrestlemania in April, and starring in the intense war thriller The Wall in May—plus a few other things he's not quite ready to talk about yet. "You'll see me scattered out in some other stuff," Cena teased. "I've got some sneaky appearances here and there that'll keep you busy through the summer and fall.". He's ...
Wwe Raw Cruiserweight Title Match Winner And Reaction
... until after Wrestle Mania, which was largely the case for the women's division this time last year. Even on a weekly three-hour show such as Raw, carving out enough time to build a strong, compelling cruiserweight division isn't easy. The task is more difficult during Wrestle Mania season when part-time stars further deplete the available television time. Bill Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Triple H have all become fixtures on Raw in recent months, and The Undertaker is seemingly destined to join the mix sooner rather than later as well. With all of those four likely to fade from the spotlight in the summer, the cruiserweight division will have an easier time building a profile on Raw. Wrestle Mania 32 essentially served as a soft reboot of the women's division. WWE ditched the "Divas" moniker and the " butterfly belt " became history along with it. Since then, women's wrestling has ...
Results Guaranteed To Disappoint Fans
... is being pushed to a level that he or she does not deserve. Here are three Fastlane results that are guaranteed to disappoint fans. Why. Sami Zayn Is Losing, Probably in Convincing Fashion. 2 of 4. Credit: __link__. WWE just called Samoa Joe up from NXT. The writers have pushed him as an unbreakable, heartless monster, an enforcer for The Authority who put Seth Rollins back on the shelf. Joe will win his first main roster pay-per-view match, and he'll probably do everything short of killing Sami Zayn to do it. Zayn has fallen precipitously. He was once the golden boy of NXT, the irrepressible babyface who took on all comers. Last year, Zayn was pushed as a future world champion. He beat current universal champion Kevin Owens at WWE Battleground last July in a showdown that many fans considered a match of the year. He lost (barely) to Shinsuke Nakamura at NXT Take Over: Dallas in what was the match of the year. But in recent months, WWE Creative has purposefully booked Zayn to look weak. He came across as an insufferable pain in the ass in multiple backstage ...
Winners, Grades, Reaction And Highlights
... For him, it may be the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal if he is to leave his mark on the biggest card of the year. Cruiserweight Championship Match: Jack Gallagher vs. Neville. 8 of 11. Could 205 Live's resident gentleman overcome the ferocity and ruthless aggression of cruiserweight champion Neville on Sunday night as Jack Gallagher sought to dethrone The King of the Cruiserweights. Neville controlled the match, delivering a scary release German suplex at one point that threatened Gallagher's safety, let alone ability to score the victory. The Gentleman fought back, though, using his unorthodox headbutt-based offense to thwart Neville's offensive onslaught. Late in the match, the action moved to the ropes, where the challenge seemingly knocked Neville unconscious. The champion fought off a superplex attempt and dropped Gallagher to the mat below with a front suplex, and he then delivered The Red Arrow for the pin-fall victory. This match did more to make a star out of Jack Gallagher than anything he has been part of to this point. The comedy was there early, but by match's end, ...
Who The Wwe Will Sign Next Is Always A Hot Topic
... couple of months. It would be great for WWE to bring in O’Reilly, because like a lot of their newer crops of talent, he adds an MMA background and a certain level of credibility to his work. Another name that is certain to be appearing in NXT sometime soon is Tommy End. End has won nearly every major championship that can be won in the UK and has already been announced as a WWE signee months ago, so the technical wrestling master should be appearing on NXT television very soon. Another Ring of Honor guy who’s contract is coming up soon is current world champion Cole. The North American “Leader” of the Bullet Club is the total package as a performer and would easily be ready to shoot straight to the main roster, although there a few feuds in NXT he could have that would make for great entertainment as well. One of the biggest rumors floating across the world wide web right now is the ...
Wwe Legend Goldberg's Best Moments
... move, they often think could I do this to any body size? As it turns out, Goldberg can do pretty much anything to anyone. Case in point, he lifted the 500 pound Big Show high into the air to deliver his signature Jackhammer move. [APPLAUSE] Last October, Goldberg made his long way to return to Monday Night Raw, and what a return it was. Not only does that mean that you're next, but most importantly, it means, Brock Lesnar, you're last! [APPLAUSE] [APPLAUSE] [MUSIC] Pretty badass mike drop for a 49 year old. He was only meant to wrestle one match against Brock. But he was such a hit that WWE signed him on for a few more. Now he's WWE champ, and on his way to one of his biggest matches ever. Okay, it is kind of cheating, because it's not technically a moment. But if you ask older fans about their memories of Goldberg, his entrance will always come up. The camera will follow him as he walks around his dressing room to the curtain. He'd be flanked by a team ...
Wwe Wrestlemania 33 Predictions, Card, Matches, Rumors, Tickets, Location
... is whether Nia Jax finds her way into this bout. However, these three have incredible chemistry despite having a penchant for missed spots, and this match could be a highlight on the card. United States Championship - Chris Jericho (c) vs. Kevin Owens: This match was a shoe-in for Wrestle Mania as soon as Jericho agreed on Owens’ behalf to fight Goldberg for the universal title. Glad to see the title will be on the line here and won’t be surprised if some stipulation is added before the big show. Wrestle Mania 33 predictions. Seth Rollins vs. Triple H: Contingent on Rollins’ health after he tore his MCL following an attack by Samoa Joe on Raw. Rollins recently returned to Raw and said he would be at Wrestle Mania, though he is still recovering from the knee injury. If he is somehow not cleared in time, I could see Joe roughing him up before the match and a replacement (Finn Balor?) shocking the world with a return to fill in for Rollins. The Undertaker vs. Roman ...
