15 Times The Justice League Lost
15 Times The Justice League Lost

... ALL. If you’re not sure what we’re referring to, you should check out the incredible cinematic trailer for “DC: Universe Online,” a superhero themed MMORPG game set in the DC universe. Narrated by Luthor himself, the trailer depicts Luthor winning a long war against the Justice League. In the final battle, he uses various Injustice League members such as Joker, Black Adam and Deathstroke to kill the remaining and strongest members of the JL one by one. Superman is off in space, recharging near the Sun, but Wonder Woman’s death rattle draws him back to earth with a vengeance, only for him to fall into Luthor’s final trap, a Kryptonite stuffed Wonder Woman and a spear through the heart. Of course this is non-canon and takes place on an alternate version of Earth, but it’s pure comic goodness! Luthor is forced to flee himself when he realizes that Brainiac has been manipulating him all along, sucking power from Earth’s superheroes. Even though this alternate version of Luthor never gets to rule his Earth, he still got his victory. That has to count for something, right. 10. THEY LOSE U. N. SUPPORT. ...

What The New ‘justice League’ Trailer Is Really Revealing About The Dc Universe’s Future

... set. By David Betancourt By David Betancourt March 25 at 2:42 PM Follow @adcfanboy. With their biggest splash of a preview since last year’s San Diego Comic-Con — and a year to the day since the release of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” — Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have released a new “Justice League” trailer. There are no signs of Superman’s return from the dead, or of top DC baddie Darkseid, yet the most striking aspect here might well be the occasionally light — dare we say “fun”? — tone of this trailer. The path to the formation of the Justice League has been a dark one, yielding few laughs in between movies (unless you count the few minutes the Joker was yukking it up in “Suicide Squad”). Judging by this nearly three-minute trailer, however, WB/DC is heeding the need for a shift. Beyond director Zack Snyder’s typical special-effects ...

... someone accidentally left a laser pointer in the middle of their 3 D model of letters. It tantalizes the potential for people everywhere to see this, give a half-hearted shrug, and go about their day, like some kind of “Just League,” that just notices things. “Unite, Just League!” this poster demands. Just look at it for a while. Marvel at its ability to convey the idea that it looks like someone cropped an upside-down DC logo before it was finished. Or, as A. V. Club staff illustrator Nick Wanserski points out, perhaps it’s secretly communicating with us, telling those with the eye to really see it that the way to make a decent DC movie is by doing the exact opposite of what’s happening now. Indeed, it has spawned an entire conversation among designers here in the office, wondering what kind of material those letters and their outline are supposed to be made of. Metal? Shiny stone? Truly, this will have us up for many moons to come, pondering its mysteries. Anyway, the new trailer arrives in two days, though why you’d promise something that will obviously be ...

J.k. Simmons Has A 'very, Very Small Part' In 'justice League

... editor J. Jonah Jameson in the Tobey Maguire-starring Spider-Man films, J. K. Simmons is making his way to a different comic book series this fall, when fans will see him — just a bit of him, according to the actor — as Commissioner Gordon in Justice League. The actor shared some details about his part in the Warner Bros. superhero film, along with how Gordon could continue to appear in future films in the DC Extended Universe. “My part in the first film coming out this fall is very, very small,” he told Screen Crush  in a recent interview. “It’s a little introduction of the character. But whenever the next one gets off the ground, whether it’s The Batman movie or the Justice League sequel, and I know those things are getting shuffled around right now … we thought we might be getting to work pretty soon on The Batman, but we’ll see what the future brings. Hopefully that’ll be another comic-book character that I get to take two or three or four cracks at.”. Simmons’ casting as the Caped Crusader’s Gotham City ally was announced last year , and he ...

Is The Next Justice League Trailer On The Way
Is The Next Justice League Trailer On The Way

... Charlie Ridgely. Back to Article Image of. As the weekend began, Warner Bros. revealed that their Wonder Con  panel - which takes place on April 1 - will include an appearance from DC. There was no additional announcement as to which DC film (or films) would be represented, but does it matter. Sneak peeks from WB, New Line, and DC films will be shown during the panel. While that doesn't specify which DC film will be highlighted, it does guarantee that footage from the DCEU will be seen. Does this mean a new trailer for Justice League is on the way. In the past, studios have used the convention panels to debut new trailers, so it makes sense for WB to take this route. Fans have been begging for a new JL trailer, and the folks at DC have been saying one is on the way. Both Zack Snyder and Gal Gadot have claimed that new footage will arrive soon, and Wonder Con is most definitely that. As the calendar rolls into April, be on the lookout for all things Justice League. With Wonder Woman around the corner, that film could be getting ...

Justice League #17 Review
Justice League #17 Review

... need to overlook every single time if I hope to enjoy it. It isn’t my job to make me like this book, and sadly, it doesn’t seem like anyone else is taking responsibility for it. I’m sure somebody is, and I’m sorry if this all sounds very harsh—but anyone can see that this book is in embarassingly bad shape compared to the New 52 version, and it’s been that way for a long time. A better book, but still not what it should be. Justice League has been better these two weeks, but it still falls far, far short of what it ought to be. Almost a year in, Rebirth has its share of stinkers—but no book has been more disappointing than this one. When will something change. Recommended if…. You’ve got enough money in your comics budget to accommodate a book that may not be great, but still reads well. You’re a Pasarin fan. Justice League #17 would be forgivably average in another context, but in a series where average is the high bar, it’s tough to celebrate rising from “terrible” to “I don’t hate it.” Hitch’s dialogue-driven approach makes reading this less of a ...

Wb Bringing Dc Films To Wondercon; New Justice League Trailer To Debut
Wb Bringing Dc Films To Wondercon; New Justice League Trailer To Debut

... eight months since the first Justice League trailer arrived. While some would say it is more a teaser than a true trailer given its style and little story, WB saw a need to release the lighter and brighter trailer to bring fans back on board following Bv S. With over half a year still between fans and Justice League, a true trailer coming out the first weekend of April could be the start of the marketing campaign. After all, it was just one month ago that Snyder said the next trailer is coming “soon,” so this being the potential debut makes a lot of sense. That said, even if Justice League does get a trailer, that may not be the only thing shown at Wonder Con. A new clip from Wonder Woman, possibly even the opening few minutes, could be shown as well, but a new trailer is not expected after one dropping last week. It is also possible that WB could bring some concept footage or art with them as well. Luckily, with the con rapidly approaching, confirmation on what DC will ...

She went on to add that some directors question whether Heard could convincingly play a straight woman as a romantic lead - something the actress was very unimpressed by. "I rolled my eyes at that. And I said, 'Watch me do it'," she said. "And I did it.". She also added that she finds it funny when people talking about her "coming out" because she was "never in". "Well, I always say in response — when I hear someone comment about me coming out, I think it's funny because I was never in," she said. "In part because I was very stubborn, I guess, and also in part because I just didn't feel it was wrong. "I was always out. I was an activist. I went to protests. I refused to not bring my partner at the time, but no one ever asked me ...
