Bachelor In Paradise’ Cast 2017 Rumors Include Chris Soules, Corinne Olympios
... find love with each other. Not unlike its parent show, there is a rose ceremony each week on BIP. One week the women hand out roses and the next, the men take the helm. Basically, if you aren’t coupled up, you end up going home. As you can probably imagine, there’s a bit of strategy that goes into this until people start forming romantic relationships. While Bachelor In Paradise wasn’t super popular when it first started, it has become a staple in summer television for millions of fans. Since Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert met on Season 2, got engaged on the finale, and ended up getting married (they just announced that they are expecting their first child together later this year), the brokenhearted castoffs have a lot more faith in the whole BIP process. For this reason, many of them actually want to go on the show. What’s better than being on vacation with a bunch of sexy people who have all been on The Bachelor/ette? Not much. On Season 3 of Bachelor In Paradise, Carly Waddell found love ...
A Few Thoughts Before The Finale Of ‘the Bachelor
... are reportedly searching for love (they actually may be!) but are mostly searching for fame. And, since the advent of social media, more Instagram followers. But to argue that this show is the reason we have our current Moron In Chief is just staggering in its simplicity. Donald Trump did benefit from reality TV. But if you’re going to say that one piece of programming contributed to his election (which I still think is a pretty thin argument), The Apprentice is probably the one you should blame. Trump was actually on it, and its grand lighting and decisive production put him in a presidential light. There’s so much in American society that contributed to Trump’s rise. To isolate it to one show and then write about how you aren’t watching that one show as a form of protest only serves to make people who do watch that show wonder if they should feel guilty about it. Jesus Christ, can’t we have anything, anymore? You by no means have to watch The Bachelor, but boy, it can be fun. It’s a fascinating anthropological study. And, I know I joke about this, but it truly is a sport: It’s an ...

... evidence, Rebecca is turning for Tony with help in a tough interrogation. As much as we may all love Tony, she’d obviously be better off with Jack, the king of illegal but effective interrogations, but apparently he’s occupied elsewhere being President of the United States. The Bachelor. ABC, 8 ET/PT. Will Carter and Rebecca stop the evil terrorists and save the day? We can’t say for sure — but we can say their odds of victory are better than the odds of tonight’s final couple finding marital bliss. Well, at least with each other. Superior Donuts. CBS, 9 ET/PT. Usually this sitcom mostly sidesteps the racial differences among its characters. This week, though, the show addresses them head on, with a story about Franco’s dismay when he’s frisked by a cop for no reason. The message is positive, the attempt is admirable and the performance from Jermaine Fowler as Franco is strong, but the outing itself is too amiable for the subject it’s trying ...

Not Even ‘the Bachelor’ Is Safe From Hygge
... in the last few episodes of The Bachelor, this has changed. That’s because the finale, which airs tonight, takes place not at a generic beach resort, but in Finland. Not just Finland: Finland-Finland, a.k.a. Lapland, where Santa is from. We know this because Finnair paid the show a bunch of money so that The Bachelor would devote roughly 45 minutes to showing B-roll of friendly Finnish flight attendants. But there may be another reason this show is currently taking place in idyllic Nordic yurts rather than tequila-soaked beaches: The Bachelor is the latest victim of the global conspiracy to make everything hygge. They never specifically mention it on the show (and if they did, the contestants would undoubtedly pronounce it “higgy”), but there are clear signs that The Bachelor is brainwashing its massive audience into further fetishizing snugness. Just look at Nick’s sweater, which is made of a fabric thicker than anything anyone has ever worn in Bachelor franchise history. Or this sheepskin rug, which has no place on a Bachelor set. This ...
