As part of the Read Across America program, schools across the country celebrate the late author by dressing up as characters from his books and of course, reading! Students and teachers at North Polk Elementary decorated their classroom doors after their favorite Dr. Seuess books. Thursday's guest readers included Fort Polk firefighters, Brigadier General Gary Brito, Fort Polk's Commanding General as well as a crowd favorite-The Cat in the Hat.
