A rapacious drilling outfit run by an odious executive (played with maximum smarm by Rob Lowe) aims to drill right down through the creatures’ home to get his mitts on the black gold, eradicating them in the process. Six monster trucks will compete to see who will be the toughest monster truck. "When Monster truck fans come to a show, they see the fun part. Trucks flipping, racing, and smashing stuff. As you're about to find out, there's more than a ton of work that goes into setting up the toughest monster truck tour,” says Brian Manson, the production manager for the Toughest Monster Truck Tour. "We've got trucks rolling in. We've got junk cars showing up. We've got loader tires. A lot of plastic and banners that get hung up.". Don't forget about dump trucks delivering the dirt. "It's mostly clay which makes it easy to work with and it holds it shape together,” says Manson. "There are 1200 cubic yards that will be in here eventually. Right now, I'd say there's maybe 800.".
